According to a police release, on the morning of the 27th, a male suspect was at the Broadway Inn Express (Broadway Inn Express) run by Moeini, Mississippi, where Reynolds fired multiple times, causing chaos and killing the 51-year-old. Moeini and two other employees , Chad Green, 55, and Laura Lehman, 61 , were shot dead at the scene before stealing the car and heading to Gulfport. He then kidnapped 52-year-old William Waltman and shot him dead, police and witnesses said.
Inside the Gulfport convenience store, Reynolds had a lengthy standoff with police, but no shots were fired. When police fired tear gas into the convenience store, Reynolds was found dead and the coroner said there was no apparent trauma to his body. A pistol and a rifle were also found at the scene. Police believe the pistol belonged to an employee of the Express Hotel. The rifle was brought by Reynolds. But police did not reveal the cause of death.
