These 8 new WSOP rules are worth paying attention to. The full schedule of the EPT Monte Carlo tournament has been announced
As the 2022 WSOP is approaching, I believe that players have already begun to prepare for this World Series of Poker. In addition to arranging your own itinerary and being familiar with the known rules of the game, there are also 8 rules that may be unheard of by everyone, which are very worthy of players' attention.
The eight WSOP rules are:
1: Events may be cancelled, terminated, modified or suspended due to weather or other reasons.
2: The WSOP lists five specific sanctions to sanction those players who harm the fairness of the competition. These include: confiscation of scoreboards, confiscation of prize money, withdrawal from the event or the entire WSOP schedule, disqualification from future WSOP events, and banning entry to the event floor.
3: “talking too much” is also punished. Those who like to chatter, pay attention!
4: Cryptocurrency companies, illegal drug logos, and clothing “considered offensive” are not allowed on the live table.
5: Pay attention to the meaning of “betting in the pot”. Pot-Limit Omahai is “pot betting”, which means throwing the number of points already in the pot into the pot, while in No-Limit Hold'em it means at least throwing the minimum number of points in the pot The number of points to bet.
6: It is recommended to stack 20 scoreboards. Stacking 20 scoreboards in a pile will save you a lot of trouble, and it will also give those watching the game, including yourself, a clear view of how much you have. However, the WSOP has not adopted a mandatory requirement for this provision, but “recommended this as a standard.”
7: Please inform the dealer immediately when you get the clown card. This year's WSOP schedule doesn't have any events that require a Joker card, but if you do get it, the hand will be void, please let the dealer know immediately.
8: Only the heads-up table is allowed to talk about the contents of the hand. According to the WSOP, the two players who make it to the heads-up table are “free to talk about anything about their hand.” Note that it is the two players who play the final heads-up match, not any table or any hand that is allowed!
